Edwin "Eddie" Herbert Selander, 85, of Copemish, died Saturday, February 4, 2012, in Tucson, Arizona. He was born July 10, 1926, in Copemish, the son of Charles and Ina (Westman) Selander.

Eddie retired from Bennett Pump Company in Muskegon. He was a member of the Northwest Michigan Engine & Thresher Club. In his spare time, Eddie enjoyed canoeing, riding bikes, camping and traveling.

Eddie is survived by: his wife, Grace of Copemish; 4 daughters, Cheryl Selander of Tucson, Lynn (Kenny) Cain of Tucson, Gayle (Bob) Norman of Muskegon, and Darla (Ernie Edwards) Selander of Copemish; 3 grandsons; 1 great-grandson; his sister, Ellen O'Connell of Montague; his twin brother, Elmer (Vera) Selander of Copemish; his brother, Alvin Selander of Copemish; several nieces and nephews; 4 step-children; and 1 sister-in-law, Effie Selander of Houghton Lake.

Eddie was preceded in death by: his parents; his sister, Agnes Buffenbarger; and 3 brothers, Roland, Charles and Harold Selander.

Cremation has taken place and graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, April 21, 2012, at Cleon Township Cemetery in Copemish,

The Terwilliger Funeral Home, in Kaleva, is in charge of arrangements.
